There are two subspeciality training posts in Gynaecological Oncology in the Severn Institute. One post is based at St Michaels Hospital, Bristol – STPS Mr John Murdoch, the second post is based between Cheltenham Hospital and Birmingham –STPS Mr Rob Gornall. The last Cheltenham/Birmingham appointment was made in January 2008 & is likely to be re-appointed in the Autumn of 2010. The last St Michaels appointment was made in April 2009.
