There are many educational opportunities including CTG Training, Perinatal Mortality Meetings, Audit Sessions & MDT Meetings for gynaecology. Registrars with no other clinical commitments will be expected to attend the education sessions at St Michaels Hospital, Bristol on Friday afternoons. Attendances at SWOT days is expected.
Research opportunities are available & Bath hosts the Cochrane Collaborative Centre of Gynaecological Cancers.
We pride ourselves in being a friendly & cohesive department & are pleased to be able to offer a large amount of surgical training experience in Gynaecology.
The hospital is a large district general hospital situated on the outskirts of the stunning Georgian City of Bath. On site there is an active Postgraduate Education Centre with state of the art conferencing facilities. The Sports Club & heated outdoor swimming pool are an added bonus.
