Alongside the hospital representatives there is also a flexible trainee representative, an overseas representative a website representative and a ‘SWOT day’ organiser. The committee also includes the Chair (who attends regional specialty training committee meetings and the RCOG trainees committee meetings), Treasurer and Secretary. Trainees are voted into these posts during the AGM.
SWOT committee meetings are held three times a year. All trainees are invited to attend the SWOT AGM traditionally held each November alternating between Bristol and Plymouth.
SWOT trainees have worked hard to organise monthly regional training days, which have more recently been designed to cover both courses in the new Logbook and interesting topics within the specialty.
